2 Strangers Meet

Ikisho walked down the forest path, remembering the incident with the bird earlier. Even though it was only 12 minutes ago, he rubbed the slight bump on his head, groaning silently in pain.

"Stupid...damn..bird..." He mumbled, rubbing his head in some pain.

"I bet Issun-sensei had something to do with it, he's ALWAYS playing tricks on me!" He thought out loud, he started to walk a bit faster, getting bored of taking his time.

She had summoned Kumaharu to help her with some training. He was an old friend, she had known him since he was a cub - since she was about 15 or 16. When he stood, he reached six-feed and his glossy brown fur shimmered in the wind, accenting those beige patterns along his body nicely. She was shorter than him by three inches only, which made her feel a little better at the moment, but she knew that he was going to be a giant - just like his dad. The bear knocked the woman back she landed on her feet easily, skidding back a little. They were evenly matched. They should be. Kumaharu and Tokidoki had been training partners for years. The bear smirked and dug his hind feet into the ground.

She had shed a few layers for this fight. Her scarf and pants were gone, instead she only wore a black tank top under her Cloud flak jacket. On her bottom-half she wore black shorts and traditional black sandals, nothing all too fancy. Tokidoki and Kumaharu had been sparring for hours, they were both sweating. Time to finish this! The red-head launched herself forward, throwing a punch....then a kick.....Kumaharu blocked all of these. She expected him too. The idea was to get him used to a flurry of attacks, and then fake him out. Tokidoki did just that, when the bear was least expecting it - she faked a kick and then swept his legs out from under him. The bear rolled onto his back. The woman pounced on top of the larger creature. "I win! That ties the record right?!"

"Don't get overconfident!" The bear snorted.

As Ikisho continued walking he heard the sound of fighting, and 2 voices that were rather easy to tell apart. One was most likely a girl, and the other was gruff and deep.

"Must be a big guy..." He thought as he was curious enough to head towards the voices, he ruffled some bushes as he got closer to the duo, occasionally scratching his arm on a twig or broken wood. He surely hoped he wouldn't get a splinter, for he hated pointy objects, or being impaled at all. It gave him traumatic memories that haunted him, deep in his mind.

He shivered and shrugged off the feeling, he pushed forward through the bushes, soon he came to the clearing, seeing a girl, maybe a few years older then him, and a large bear.

"No way....it was the BEAR talking???" Ikisho was curious of the 2 now, but he kept his distance, he knew he was trespassing on what seemed to be training. And since he didn't know how to really talk to others so well, he shyly looked at them, wondering on what they'd do or say.

Kumaharu gently tapped her on the head with his paw. She grinned and tapped him back. Now usually, this would begin yet another fight, but Kumaharu stopped and sniffed the air. Tokidoki blinked. "What is it?"

The bear turned to where the other man was hiding. "Someone's watching." Tokidoki closed her eyes and took in the chakra outline of the area. She could see the trees, Kumaharu...all the way back to the village. If given a target she could track something miles away, but of course even that had a limit. Needless to say, it didn't take her long to locate the onlooker. Tokidoki stood up, dusted herself off, and rested her hands on her hips.

"'Sup!" Tokidoki grinned, always the friendly one. Kumaharu stood up silently and then suddenly poofed away. "Huh?!" She jumped in surprise. "Hey! Kumaharu-chaaaaan?! Why'd you leave?!" The woman frowned and sighed.

Ikisho frowned and stepped a bit closer, "S-sorry...it's kind of my fault isn't it...?" he said, scratching the back of his head.

"Forgive me for intruding, I just got curious as all..." He said bowing in apology, he looked at the girl and decided she would forgive him.

"My names Ikisho, from the Hockisu clan." Ikisho announced, smiling shyly.

"Yeah it is." She said bluntly, her smile disappearing and being replaced with an apathetic stare. Tokidoki folded her arms behind her head casually, closing her eyes and upturning her nose at him. In reality, she didn't mind at all that Kumaharu had left, but Tokidoki wasn't one who was known for speaking her feelings or thoughts out loud so easily - even those of a trivial sort. The redhead shrugged her shoulders at his curiosity and, being a minor hypocrite, Tokidoki wrote it off as nosiness. Of course she was conveniently forgetting all the times that she had burst onto the scene and claimed her curiosity was driving her.

When he introduced himself, the woman's demeanor changed. She grinned and clenched her fist in front of her. "Name's Kuchiya Tokidoki! My clan's not famous or anything - but it's just fine for me!" She was definitely cheerful, apparently despite the mood swings.

Ikisho, being good at knowing peoples moods just by looking at them, instantly felt offended by how blunt she was being with him. Issun even taught him to not show to much emotion to others, or they'd think quick stereotypes about your personality and judge you on it. He decided to shrug it off for now, however.

Then he saw the swift mood swing, it certainly caught him off guard. First she was blunt, and to him, rather rude. Now it was cheerful with a burning passion he could feel from the girl.

He simply nodded. "Nice to meet you...even though it was, unexpected...Ehehehe.." He rubbed the back of his head. Still sort of uncomfortable for ruining Kuchiya's training. He also wondered what else to do at this point, they introduced themselves already...he didn't have a clue. But he decided on what he'd usually do.

"Well it was nice meeting you...but a certain someone summoned a bird to attack me a while ago, I need to get some revenge..." Ikisho said, as he started to walk away, with a mysteriously evil gleam in his eyes.

Revenge? Revenge?! Tokidoki let out a squeal and trotted after the younger man. She tried throwing an arm around his shoulders. "Hey! Let me help! I love revenge!!!!" She side-stepped so she was in front of him. "Who're we pranking~?"

Ikisho blinked twice seeing Kuchiya so eager to help him, he could also capitalize on this. The more the merrier they'd always say.

He nodded. "Sure you can come along. I'm just gonna prank my Sensei, his names Issun. He sent this evil bird after me and it pecked and pecked and pecked at my head!" He said as he started to walk forward.

"And it still hurts to...come on lets go then." Ikisho said, motioning Kuchiya to follow.

Tokidoki folded her arms behind her head. "Never trusted birds all that much." Many of them had.....well let's not talk about it.

She walked along with him, her black eyes looking up at him excitedly. "So, you gotta plan or are we just gonna improvise all of this?"

Ikisho's evil gleam from his eyes became even more eerie, as a smirk crossed his half hidden face under his mask.

"I have a special jutsu for the case, just need to make sure I get it on him." He said, as he continued to walk.

She liked that look in his eye, subconsciously she reciprocated it. Tokidoki's coal black eyes glimmered at Ikisho mischievously. "Well alright, that doesn't sound too hard!" She clenched a fist. "Now where is Issun-chan-sensei~?" Tokidoki looked around quickly, her head swiveling to take in each direction.

Ikisho felt comfortable now, so he started to relax a bit. His calm demeanor had returned and his temper was tucked in ready to explode any second.

"I'm sure I heard him laughing in a nearby bush...somewhere around this same trail up ahead!" He said anxiously, starting to walk a bit faster.

"We better hurry or he might end up gone by the time we get there!" He said picking up the pace.

"Wait, I'll lure him out~!" With that Tokidoki bolted off ahead. She closed her eyes and let her vision be replaced with the images of the chakra silhouettes of the things around her - rocks, people, plants, trees - everything had chakra. She sorted through the trees, looking for an actual animal. There was a deer, who promptly ran off once she came close, a few squirrels, but no...OH WAIT~! There he is. Tokidoki let out a shrill battle cry before charging at the man she assumed to be Issun.

Issun had no time to react at the crazed girl who tackled him, he yelped and fell to the ground.

"GET OFF ME YOU CRAZED GIRL!" He exclaimed.

Ikisho quickly caught up and snuck a red glowing gooey ball onto the back of his head, it stuck as it should have and he moved away. Motioning for Kuchiya to get off and get away.

"I got it on him! Move out!"

"S-Stay still!" She grunted, trying to get a firm hold on him. When Ikisho appeared again; however, Tokidoki knew she didn't need to and leaped off of the unfamiliar man - she didn't need more red on her hair!

Issun didn't notice the rather big red gooey ball on his head, he quickly got up and grumbled. Then he started walking down the trail, not saying a single word.

Ikisho jumped down beside Kuchiya. "Mission success...now we wait for the boom." He said, smirking again.

She covered her mouth with both hands and began to giggle to herself. "This is going to be hilarious~!!!" Tokidoki tried to grab his hand and pull him along as she began to run. "C'mon, let's go watch~!!!"

"W-wah..! Okay, okay! As long as we don't get to close!" Ikisho was quickly grabbed and lead towards the ticking time bomb on Issun, soon it would explode to. "It's set to go off soon, don't get to close..." He warned Kuchiya.

Quickly, she nodded and let go of his hand in order to perch herself in a tree. It was easier to hide this way. Tokidoki looked down at Ikisho and motioned for him to do the same before bolting off, jumping from tree to tree until she found Issun again. Her lips curled into a fox-like grin as she crouches on the strong branch. Tokidoki's hungry eyes were waiting to see the end result of this prank.

Ikisho followed Kuchiya in the trees, crouching on a branch parallel to hers. He closed his eyes, holding a handsign for moment, and then said; "Impact...!" The gooey ball answered with a rather large explosion, sending Issun flying.

Issun knew the technique used on him and remembered who created it quickly as he yelled while he was being knocked away. "IKISHOOOOOO!!" He screamed, before he was out of view.

"Bulls-eye..." Ikisho smirked as it expectingly hit the mark. He leaped down to the ground, laughing maniacally. "Aahahahah! Revenge Complete!"

The jounin laughed loudly. "DAMN, WE GOT 'IM GOOD!" She clutched her sides and let herself fall to the ground. Her feet meet dirt smoothly, Tokidoki stands up, her body still wracking with light laughter. "Where do you think he'll land?!"

Ikisho's maniac laughter died down to a chuckle, "Hmm...judging from the size of that one, he'll hit a beehive...and slam into a tree!" Ikisho said as he thought about that for a brief moment.

"What ironic accuracy...." He said out loud, he shrugged it off and looked toward the laughing Kuchiya.

"So...what should we do know...?" Ikisho asked, as he crossed his arms behind his head.

"Awesome~!" Tokidoki grinned and leaned toward Ikisho to whisper. "Wouldn't want to be around for that though." She winked and grinned, her nose crinkling in amusement.

Tokidoki paused, thought for a moment, and then shrugged. "Dunno...." She folded her hands behind her head. "You're a leaf ninja right? Whaddya do for fun around here?"

Ikisho looked up towards the sky. "Well...I do pranking mostly, but sometimes I go sky surfing...it's really great when it's a clear sunny day."

He looked at Kuchiya, and asked her. "You've never gone sky surfing right? I could take you if you want." He offered.
